In 2007, the DDCDA set about establishing what the needs of our community actually are.
The County Monaghan Partnership provided funding to engage a facilitator to assist the DDCDA in compiling and evaluating our Community Audit. This allowed us to hear all of the comments local people had for how the area could be developed. A lot of excellent ideas and suggestions were generated from teh 212 questionnaires returned.
The community audit report which now provides a solid basis from which;
- The DDCDA can determine what projects to prioritise
- Funding applications can be made
- Potential investors, entrepreneuers and developers in the area can develop their business.
