The DDCDA was delighted to welcome the Monaghan Community Network to the Golden Jubilee Hall on Monday, 14th March 2011. The monthly meeting of the network was held in the hall and over 30 members of the network from all over the county attended.
It was a great opportunity for the DDCDA to showcase the work the assocation has done during it's 5 years in operation. The group was welcomed to the hall by DDCDA Chairperson PJ Harte. Paula Coleman, Secretary of the DDCDA made a presentation to the community network group about the formation and work of the DDCDA to date. Monaghan Community Network has been a great support to the DDCDA since it's foundation - the projector used for the presentation was made available to the DDCDA by the Community Network.
Refreshments and a chat were enjoyed after the meeting (thanks to Anne Malone, Majella McArdle, Mary B. O Neill).
