PJ Harte, Brigid Ann Finnegan, Bernie O Neill, Alan Anderson and John Gilsenan have all successfully completed the year long project, and at a final session in the Farnham Estate Hotel in Cavan they were awarded a certificate by the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) and the International Fund for Ireland (IFI).
We are very proud of these five volunteers who have worked hard all year long to the complete the programme and have seen the successful introduction of a newsletter to our area and who have organised a new website for our area. Their year's work will culminate at a launch of http://www.doohamlet.com on Saturday, 5th July in Connolly's bar and lounge at 9pm - all are welcome.
