It was a great night's entertainment, and a closely fought competition. By the last round 2 teams were in first place, both with a very impressive scores of 78 out of 80. A tie-break round of 5 questions added to the suspense, but finally a winner emerged. Congratulations to the winners "The Cockie Birds", who managed to achieve 5/5 in the tie-break round. Commiserations to runners up "The NoNothings".
The DDCDA wish to thank all supporters who attended and generously supported the draw, Pat Bolger who kindly acted as quizmaster on the night, Connolly's Lounge for facilitating the event, David Sewell for providing amplification on the night, Marion and Jennifer for keeping score and all DDCDA committee members who made sandwiches, brought spot prizes and collected monies on the night. Many thanks also to Doohamlet Construction, who kindly sponsored the quiz prizes.
€730 was collected which will greatly help the association with the forthcoming year's activities. Photos of the night are posted below;
