The Community Leadership Project is designed to develop local people as leaders in the community. Leadership sessions were facilitated locally and five people committed to a year long programme of learning. Two people are continueing to complete an academic course with a recognised qualification.

The project will also fund the publication of 4 quarterly newsletter entitled Doohamlet Community News and the launch of a website for the area in May 2010.
